NOW OFFERING ONLINE TELETHERAPY SESSIONS
(Because the World has Changed)
WHAT IS TELETHERAPY?
Teletherapy (also known as Telehealth or Telemental Health) is simply professional psychotherapy counseling provided remotely over a free, convenient, private, secure, easy-to-use video teleconferencing platform.
WHY DO THERAPY ONLINE?
Online sessions are convenient and discreet. Online teletherapy may be advantageous if you:
- prefer to access care from the comfort of your own home, or from anywhere in Illinois
- have a busy schedule
- want to eliminate commute time to sessions
- do not want to spend time or money for city parking or public transportation
- need to find a babysitter when you have appointments outside your home
- prefer social distancing when possible
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will be able to connect with me over a HIPAA-compliant platform by clicking on the link I send you by e-mail at your scheduled appointment time. You do NOT need to download a program or an app, you do not need to register on any website to connect with me safely over this telehealth platform.
WHAT TECHNOLOGY DO I NEED?
Telehealth Sessions require a computer or a device (with working microphone and camera) that can access the internet. Locating yourself somewhere with a strong internet signal provides a much better interactive experience. Although possible to use a smart phone or tablet, the best connections occur when you connect from a computer using a browser such as Chrome.
SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:
My office hours for Teletherapy are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00-6:00PM. To schedule an appointment and/or to discuss any questions you have, please contact me here or call me at 773-506-4567.
